Assistant Community Manager

Lansing Area

This position assists the community manager and leasing manager of several apartment communities to meet marketing and leasing goals. Resident relations and reputation management are focus points for this position. In addition, this person will assist in conducting reviews of all leasing consultants’ leads and make recommendations for closing techniques and follow-up. They will ensure verification and authorization of residency applications for management review, analyze leasing status reports, coordinate and oversee resident retention/renewal programs as established by company policies and procedures, review media advertisements with Marketing and management; under Management direction, contribute to preparation of special promotional features, compile sales statistics and reports in relation to community’s walk-in traffic, telephone inquiries, appointments, follow-up procedures, rental/renewal sales and commissions to present to management/marketing for review.

In this challenging role, the ideal candidate will be outgoing, professional and customer service oriented! Effective sales and multi-tasking skills, minimum of 3 years sales/customer service experience and minimum of 1 year supervisory experience.
 

Sales/Leasing Manager

Lansing Area

This position will report to the community manager and will lead a sales team. Their goal is to assist the community manager in meeting their marketing and leasing goals. In addition, this person will conduct daily reviews of all leasing consultant’s leads and make recommendations for closing techniques and follow-up. They will ensure verification and authorization of residency applications for management review, analyze leasing status reports, coordinate and oversee resident retention/renewal programs as established by company policies and procedures, review media advertisements with Marketing and management; under Management direction, contribute to preparation of special promotional features, compile sales statistics and reports in relation to community’s walk-in traffic, telephone inquiries, appointments, follow-up procedures, rental/renewal sales and commissions to present to management/marketing for review.

Leasing Consultant

East Lansing Area

This position will report to the Leasing Manager and Community Manager and is the main point of contact with perspective residents and current residents.  Their goal is to assist our Leasing Managers in their marketing and leasing efforts. 
 
In addition, the Leasing Consultant also is responsible for effectively engaging and interacting with each visitor and resident, successfully showcasing the benefits of the community, effectively closing each rental agreement, and problem solving any issues with current residents.  The Leasing Consultant is also a brand advocate for the community; they will perform outreach marketing efforts to spread community awareness.
 
The ideal candidate will be outgoing, professional and customer service oriented!  Effective sales and multi-tasking skills are also required in this challenging role.
 

Service Technician 

Lansing Area | Okemos Area | East Lansing Area | Grand Rapids Area | DeWitt Area

This position will report to the maintenance supervisor and property manager.  Responsible for keeping apartments and community buildings in clean and orderly condition, tends to furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, appliances, plumbing, and hot water heaters.  Also maintains and repairs equipment, physical structures, plumbing and electrical systems in residential apartment communities.
 
The ideal candidate will be outgoing, professional and customer service oriented!  Previous experience in maintenance is essential for this position.
 

Grounds

East Lansing Area 

This position will report to the maintenance supervisor and property manager.  Employee in this position will plant grass, flowers, shrubs (as needed), water lawn and shrubs, prune shrubs and trees; rake/blow and bag leaves, clean grounds and remove litter, clean out drainage ditches and culverts; monitors and maintains all outside property lighting, safety, curb and covered parking fixtures, replace light bulbs and remove broken glass, etc.  Notify supervisor and/or management of possible malfunctions.  Clean snow and debris from sidewalks and driveways; spread salt on public passageways, maintain salt supply; repair and maintain fences, gates, outbuildings, curbs.  As community conditions require, post on doors and/or distribute flyers to residents; provide support to maintenance and pool staff as needed.
