Reviews
"Really enjoy the staff, especially Ayub. He goes above and beyond, is very knowledgeable, and is always dependable when it comes to Cedar Village. Would definitely suggest meeting him and working with him!"

"I have absolutely loved my time here in Cedar Village! The apartments are super nice, cozy, and you seriously can't beat the brick walls. While all of that is amazing, the location is also top notch. As a business school student I was able to easily walk to all may classes. I have a ton of friends who are super jealous of my apartment and how convenient it is. One of the workers at the office, I think her name was Bailey, was always super friendly and helpful with any requests I had. Overall 10/10 experience. I would highly recommend living here."

"Cedar Village Apartments are the best apartments in East Lansing. Cedar Village’s location gets you as close to campus as you can be while also remaining less than a 5 minute walk from Grand River. The maintenance crew is always helpful and very quick to respond to any maintenance requests. On move in day my apartment was thoroughly clean and all appliances worked great! In addition, Cedar Village provides more bonuses and does not take advantage of their residents with ridiculously over priced fees like many other student housing apartments do. In my opinion Cedar Village provides the best overall value for the price."

"DTN has been a wonderful leasing company to work with this past year. They have been great about dealing with our complaints and very timely when it comes to sending someone out for maintenance issues. Cedar Village is a location you can't beat and with roommates, the price is beyond reasonable. It's easily the best deal you can find for off-campus housing at MSU. The Cedar Village office employees are always there to help, and the clubhouse attached is a great place to study or meet with others. I would highly recommend anyone to live here."

"Cedar Village Community is definitely your best option when attending Michigan State University. There is no better location across the entire campus, with classes being literally minutes away. Cedar Village is also located close to restaurants, Grand River Ave, and is minutes away from East Lansing's nightlife. Parking is also great, and is included! You will not regret living here!"

"Cedar Village is a great place to live! It is so close to campus it feels like you're on campus and is also very close to Grand River and night life. It is walking distance for anything. The people who work in the office are very friendly and are willing to help you with anything."

"This has been my first year living here and I enjoy it very much. The best part about Cedar Village is that it's an off campus living space but we basically feel like you are on campus because of you location so going to class is easy. You also have grand river five minutes away from, location is prime! The staff on duty is super nice and always willing to help if there happens to be anything wrong."

"Overall great location for students. No more than a 15 minute walk anywhere. Maintenance are prompt and efficient, as well as front office. Highly recommend for anyone looking for off campus living, with all of the perks of being on campus."

"Our units patio wasn't completely renovated until 2 months after moving in. Pam in the front office was extremely helpful and worked out compensation for my roommate and I for the patio that hadn't been completed. Working with Pam was easy and stress-free. She also was able to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently which was a bonus."

"Cedar Village is definitely the best location to live off campus. I don't have longer than a 15 minute walk to any of my classes. We had many issues with our apartment, but maintenance was always helpful and quick to respond. We met with Ms. Saunders about how frequently we had maintenance issues and she was very helpful and generously compensated us. The management really cares about its residents."

"Cedar Village is a great place to live. The location is excellent and i walk to all my classes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Having the parking garage is convenient and my parking pass was free with my rent dues. The only negative i can think of is that the buildings are old, and there's always seems to be workers making repairs somewhere, but its never a very big issue. Everything in the apartments is just a little dated. But, compared to the dorms, its a major upgrade. Also, it seems a little silly to charge a few dollars for the laundry services."

"So, I've been in three different management companies in the last few years and I would say that DTN is the best so far. They have events which usually have shirts and other goodies for the residents, and always like to check up on how our stay is going. These guys will make sure you leave the office with a smile, and fix any issues that may arise with your room. Overall, can't go wrong with getting a lease through Cedar Village, highly recommend."

"I am staying in Cedar Village this year, and just resigned for next year. The quality of the unit is very nice. There have been a few minor issues with water pressure in our kitchen sink, and hot water takes a considerable time to reach the showers most nights, and the walls are a bit marked up from the tenants before us, but aside from those issues I am very happy. Living is easy, the maintenance staff are responsive and competent, and I love the location of my apartment."
Noah Menlo
"Excellent location, apartments, and staff. Close as you can get to campus, and right on the red cedar. Very well kept apartments and a staff that is great with help if anything goes wrong. I recommend these apts for any MSU student."

"Theres no better location to live while attending Michigan State University. Cedar village apartments are great size for the price you pay, they just upgraded the furniture and just replace all of our carpet so you can have that new home feel, they also just added new appliances, and new flooring in the kitchen and bathroom. The office staff is really nice and easy to talk to, they're number one priority is making sure are needs are met. Also the maintenance are extremely nice and do a great job when needed. Highly recommend you consider living in cedar village."
