With the East Lansing Park District, our community has the rare opportunity to completely reimagine a key gateway to the city and Michigan State University. The area encompassed by the Park District includes several buildings that have stood empty or underutilized for nearly a decade, creating an eyesore that sadly greets our city’s visitors.
As the chosen developer for the Park District, DTN has the privilege of leading this project, but we won’t be able to do it alone. We need the help and support of the East Lansing community, Michigan State University, and business professionals across the region to make this project successful.
DTN is collecting ideas and feedback for the Park District through the "Park District website ELParkDistrict.com and at three public meetings. These meetings will help us determine what community needs this development should meet, what innovative and unique elements we can incorporate into this space, and the types of design features the community would like to have included in the buildings.
